His music theatre credits (just in the West End) include: 
Footloose (chair holder), the Lion King, Legally Blonde, Billy Elliot, 9 to 5, Little Shop of Horrors, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Spamalot, The Producers, Matilda, 42nd Street, Young Frankenstein, Chicago, My One and Only, Cabaret, My Fair Lady, and others. He was also deputy MD for the 2022 tour of Footloose.

Over roughly thirty years as a professional musician, Gareth has worked with countless other musicians and artists on one off gigs, projects, recordings, broadcasts, theatre performances, big band outings - a few names from these enjoyable encounters include Hannah Waddingham, Jim Mullen, Jess Gillam, the London Horns, Theo Travis, Gary Husband, BBC Religious Programming, BBC Radio Wales Christmas Special, The Sid Lawrence Orchestra, Julian Littman, Simon Lee, Ruthie Henshall, RWCMD Music Theatre, Janie Dee, Gareth Williams, Sally Burgess, Glastonbury Festival, The Ian Macmillan Orchestra, Tommy Steele, The Glen Miller Orchestra (UK), Friday Night is Music Night, ITV, Mary Ann Hobbs, John Peel, Stuart Maconie, Matt Skelton, Jim Watson, Nina Nastasia, Reading Festival, Mike Gorman, Asaf Sirkis, Latitude Festival, Nigel Price, David Simpatico, Sally Creedon, Matt Ford, the Cardiff International Festival of Music Theatre, the Beardy Festival, and Hank Crawford.

He has co-lead workshops and educational projects for the Wigmore Hall, The London Business School, Unilever, Trinity College of Music, Sherborne School, The Daily Telegraph Jazz Competition, plus a variety of others for adults and young people, often with performances. He was Director of the CSSM Summer School of Music for 6 years following over 20 years as Assistant Director of CSSM and the Canford (now Sherborne) Summer School of Music.
